Ongoing Commitment to a Safe Environment

Darwin Corporate Services (DCS) has a responsibility for the health and safety of employees in the workplace. DCS is committed to providing, promoting and maintaining a working environment that strives to minimise the risk to health, safety and wellbeing of individuals.
DCS is firmly committed to a policy enabling all work activities to be carried out safely, and with all possible measures taken to remove (or at least reduce) risks to the health, safety and welfare of employees, and anyone else who may be affected by our business or undertakings.

We are committed to ensuring we comply with the Work Health and Safety Act 2012, the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012, relevant Codes of Practice and relevant Australian Standards.

This commitment is demonstrated through:
Providing and maintain a work environment free from risks to health and safety.
Providing and maintain safe equipment, structures, and safe systems of work.
Ensuring the safe use, handling and storage of equipment, structures, and substances.
Providing adequate facilities for the welfare of workers in carrying out work.
Providing any information, training, instruction, or supervision that is necessary to protect all people from risks to their health and safety arising from work activities.
Ensuring that the health of workers and the conditions at the workplace are monitored for the purpose of preventing illness or injury of workers arising from our business.
Consulting with workers on all matters relating to health and safety.

DCS workplace health and safety policy is communicated to all employees and contractors at induction and is available to the public on request and is reviewed annually to ensure continuing suitability.
